Willingly Let Go

The moment I was born
I was sentenced to death
No matter how hard I fought
No matter how many tears I cried
The time tables turned
And began to divide
Every limb of my body conquered
Every word I ever spoke faded
The places I travel a mirage
My existence is merely a blimp
Nothing to retain
That is unless talking about pain
Crying from the moment I was born
Innately aware that I was sentenced to death
Many said put up a good fight
Without question know I did with all my might
Even when on my knees crying
Pleading with God in vain
Every movement of my body
Made my soul cringe in agony
My choice of words consumed my pleasures
I did magic...
See without thought you'd never know I even existed
Nothing to retain
So I willingly let go
