Mental adjustments cascades the sun's silhouette 

Encapsulated by a limited understanding 

In absence of your presence

Despair is left in awe

Fallacies that stretch beyond sight and sound

I'm found engulfed in a brokenness 

Forever enshrined in delusions

That has seized years of my life

Holding on to the unforgiving 

Clinging to a stillborn dream

When sorting distorted perceptions

A reacquaintance with discernment
