I no longer could accept me

And the emptiness you now feel inside

Know that it wasn't I that stole your light

It wasn't I that fed you hopes

While your reality starved on unfilled dreams

If I ever allow the struggle to end

Please know it was never because

I give up on you...

If was never thought of my unwillingness to understand and forgive 

It was truthfully because...

I had spent too much time convicting myself

Fighting only to be imprisoned by own heart desires

Just as o choose to love you with my whole heart and soul...
