Intentional

I am intentional with my intentions 

I am not struggling with prevention 

Just I can't fathom 

The thoughts of my sincerity 

Plague as a total illusion 

Understand...

I haven't given given any thought to the conclusion 

Perhaps in my gullible state of mind

I was delusional to the consequences 

Of the intent that was purposefully intentional 

Never did I doubt or raise concern

I trusted the unseen

For you were the greatest blessing 

I ever held in my sight

Classify me as heaven and hell...

As I im offering you the world...

Through my own self sacrifice 

Love me i have asked...

Become one with me I've pleaded...

The day you...

You revisit yesterday and today...

To grapple understanding 

That without hesitation you know...

That my love for you...

Has always been...

Always remained....

Just as it begun...

Intentional with the purest intents

You never seen my struggles

You never seen the hurt inflicted 

You never felt the bend when my heart was breaking 

You never could see pass the laughter and smiles

To understand the effort

To realize the strength it took

To stand and remain standing 

Just so I could remain that man...

You looked at smiling with pride 

Knowing you were protected and safe

To love you...

Has been intentional 

Because I never wanted to unintentionally 

Lose the love of a lifetime.
