A Poet's Stanza

Filled then emptied
Replenished and consumed
Recharged and drained
There is sight but rarely seen
Touching the untouchable
And yet the untouchable felt the touch
Remaining driving reminded by the remains
Tortured soul within an endearing spirit
Presented with a day tomorrow's gift is that days present
Plucked from limbs of sustainment to be tucked in nature eternally
If only flesh could mimic
A poet's stanza
Essences of life through the existence of lives
Smiles that generate warmth defrosting heavens smile
Hatred is filled with venom and spills red daily
Everyone's a memoir that society feels dutiful critique
Fill in the blanks by fulfilling thoughts that evoke completion
When smelling the aroma take time to touch the endangered
The earth is a delicate linen decimated by a virus with shallow lineage
Sentences aren't written just to be read they provide reasoning for understanding
Ask a poet's stanza
