King Talk

If I were to walk this land
Fill with fear
How much of a man would I be
I stand like a mountain
Have my feet enriched
In the depths of mother Africa
Ferocious just a that African king
Stealth like that golden eyes
Seen only when my canines penetrates
I'll carry my chains
Just know I'm never bound
By the weight or man made limitations
I'm an eagle by birth
Didn't you know my heights are limitless
I'm no Christian
Instead I'm like an elephant
I remember and surely aware of the past
So watch out for this king cobra
I'll dance to your flute
And stoke you as my enemy just the same
I learned from the best
The washed out inferior version of myself
I became the bird watcher
Following the devastation left afterwards
Those wooden, and metal assault weapons
May be used on me...
I promise with all my might
I'll take my leave like the kings of Egypt
As I've past my power to my offspring...
Knowledge of self
Wisdom of understanding
Power to be just
Strength to stand when all other sit
So when I close my eyes
My spirit still has sight through theirs soul
