My Prayer

Jehovah 

It's with a heavy heart

That I seek your counsel 

In my own capacity 

I assume the mantle 

Of occupied by the dearly beloved 

As the cornerstone of the family 

So I am seeking 

Refuge in you

Asking that you guide...

My thoughts 

Open my heart

Allow me the ability

To obtain peace in understanding 

Provide me the ability 

To be a forgiver without retribution 

Jehovah...

I seek a humbling spirit

Knowing I am flawed 

Filled with human imperfections 

Jehovah...

I pray for...

Health strength 

Soundness of mind

Kindness of heart

The wisdom of understanding 

That I may do your will

As well remain

A positive foundation...

For my family and future generations...

In your son...Christ Jesus
