In my own awe

I'm engulfed

Selfishness emerges

As I'm constantly 

Envisioning your smile 

Hearing the enchantment of your voice

As I struggle with the terms of life 

I find myself standing in a sea of tears

Hugging space

Clinging tightly to the times

That are now treasured memories 

Filled with stories to be shared

Of an angel...

The heaven seen fit to place in my life

To cherish

To love

To respect...

And to now keep alive in remembrance 

Through daily reflection
