Send It On It's Way
Have you heard the breeze
Yet you've ignored all the signs
The winds hollers
Even though the scenery choreographed the scene
And yet even in the mist...
The storms are blamed
When so many where informed of the forecast
These intentions
Are just as tomorrow's sunrise
Just as tonight's sunset
Even though we are in the moment...
Expectations are the pursuit
Of things to be...
Why allow ripe fruit to wither on the vine
When it's time for harvest
Seems more or less like neglect
Therefore be damned with the outcome
When the leaf was never to land
In my care from the beginning
Just be close enough to observe
And the breeze would gracefully
Send it on its way...
