Everyone sees the results 

Not many understand the trials 

Yet alone the bravery it took

To establish the beginning...

Intertwined forever...

A need and a desire

Created a union that can never be broken 

An undeniable love

When we met...

My hair was like wool

And the thickness of dirt like clay

What she seen...

Only Jehovah could have gifted her to imagine...

She witness endless stares

And life altering threatening convulsions 

With tears in her eyes

Fear overwhelming her spirit 

Her love...

That unconditional love for me!

Made her flesh clench me tighter 

It was never I couldn't do any wrong

It was she loved me beyond my flaws

It was never I didn't hurt her feelings 

It was losing me would always hurt her more

She invested...

Her laughter

Her sorrows

Her disappointments 

In her absolute everything 

Her spirit could conjure 

Every ounce fight in her soul

Each beat of her heart...

In her joy of loving me

That little fiesty woman that..

Adopted this infant...

Who loved and protected

Another as her own 

Taught that young boy

Humility in the face of adversity

Nurturing to the best of her abilities 

A man in which she could...

Proudly present to the devil 

On Jehovah's behalf

Saying...

Look from which this child came 

To the example for which he stands

Unknowing to her...

She just provided evidence 

Of why she's isn't just...

My mother....

She the woman that also saved me

My very own...
