To get you here...

Here where we stand!

Here where in tomorrow is hope

Here...

My pride...

Here

My joy...

The many obstacles 

The challenges that strained

So many began

Many faltered under scrutiny 

But today

My God...

Oh my God...

Today!

Here we stand!

On the cusp on a new chapter 

You're physical growth my have ceased 

But to you top the mountain top

You must continue to grow mentally 

Today!

I may no long hold your hand...

Remember I'm always...

Here

You never have to search

I'm right here

By your side I will forever be

Close your eyes

And just think of me

When I'm beyond your touch

Understand my failures 

Remember my successes 

In the intertwining I given you me

Hopefully for as long as life exists 

That presence will guide you..

From here to anything beyond
