You Hate Me That Much
If I was on fire...
It's obvious...
You wouldn't piss on me
If I was screaming from being crushed
It's plainly clear
You'd add more weight
Light a match
Smoke a cigarette
Until I took my last breathe
Venom circulating through your veins
The hate and unhinged contempt..
Piercing eyes commissioning daggers
That penetrate the spirit
Annihilating any semblance of a soul
Confiscating every desire
Body speaks a language that silences life
Paralyzing every utterance
Disintegrating any act
Into disenfranchised grievances
If the twilight were to capture my breathe
You'd exhale in relief
Thanking God for the thief in the night
If the silence fell
And I cried out in fear
You'd turn over
To rejoice in silence upon my anguish
